Another bird that's not entirely native to the UK is the red-crested pochard. It looks similar to a regular pochard duck, but it doesn't have the blue bill, and the shape of the head is a little different. Apparently, the ones that live here are escaped from collections, and have been breeding in the country. So they are becoming naturalised, but originally are not from here. They are quite a brightly-coloured bird in the sun and quite beautiful!
